1.5KW Air Cooled VFD Spindle Kit | 65MM

I don't know how to change the block zero in the computer program.

Too early to tell but looks like it will do what I need. Fast speed and light cuts.

I run/program a big Holzer for a cabinet shop. Bought this for a masuter3 8040, for a side hustle. Having the performance of 24K RPM, maxing depth per pass and feed speed has significantly dropped run time and has led to better, crisp cuts with hardly a need to sand.
Ive had trouble getting it connected to the rgbl controller as well as Easel. But getting it up and running to top speed is as easy as a flip of a switch and a ten second wait as I hit run.

Really great… It can be helpful to explain how to delete starting work before accès to full speed of the spindle.

I've only had this for a short period of time, but so far it's been great. Lots of power. Very quiet (the CPU fan is almost louder than the spindle, but CPU isn't bad). Spool up time on the spindle is very slow, but I set my dwell time to 10 seconds to allow it to get to full speed before cutting, and that works fine. Huge difference between the stock 500W spindle and this. Great upgrade.

Really good quality and really easy to install. Very impressed with the results. I'm now getting from the machine.

Having upgraded from a router to fox alien spindle the improvement in carving is significant. Its also much quieter making carving a joy

Despite not being a long time CNC'er I had the urge to upgrade the spindle from the standard 400w unit to this, It has not been a disappointment that’s for sure, its big and heavy but so quiet at the same time, the cooling fan in the control box seems louder. It gnaws through wood with ease and my Xe-Pro can now go deeper with higher feed rates as you'd expect, I haven’t had it doing any jobs that take hours but going through plywood for half an hour or so at 6mm doc >1000mm/min feed and it didn’t even get warm or even seem stressed, aluminium is my next target so might need a longer run then but we’ll see, honestly I doubt It’s going to make much difference to the spindle.

The control box isn’t a ton weight but still feels substantial enough, the cable to connect the spindle to the controller is very long ( handy if you have the CL 4x4) so its easy to put the controller away from all the chips you'll create, the PWM cable that connects the VFD to the main CNC box isn't anywhere near as long so you won't be putting it too far away but still found it just long enough, maybe overkill for a hobbyist playing in the garage but It’s probably safe to say it'll do everything I can throw at it.
