  • Fast & Strong Closed-loop Motors: The Masuter 3S is equipped with NEMA23-76 closed-loop stepper motors. They have great performance in step-loss control. And the torque is 2.2 Nm. and its moving speed is up to 10000mm/min.
  • Rigid Structure & High Accuracy: The Masuter 3S uses 23*60mm extrusions that ensure the stability during carving. The Z-axis uses dual HG-15 linear rails and T12 lead screw, which effectively reduce wobble and enhance the engraving accuracy to 0.05mm.
  • 400W Powerful Spindle: It comes with a 400watt spindle, which is capable to engrave and cut soft metal such as aluminum. An extra spindle clamp (65mm) is included in the package for trimmer router upgrade.
  • Easy-maintenance Controller Box: the newly designed controller box is easy to use and maintain. There are several shortcut buttons for fast operation. And it is dust-proof and easy to clean. It supports offline controller.

The Masuter 3S is the first CNC Router comes with four Nema23 Closed Loop Motors at a price under $1000 in the market. It is the latest model in the FoxAlien CNC Router's family in 2024. Equipped with 400W spindle and four Nema23 Closed Loop Stepper Motors(max torque 2.2Nm) which make the machine powerful enough to achieve a nice finish on wood, acrylic, carbon fiber, and soft metal. The max moving speed of the Masuter 3S is 10000mm/min, this can reduce a lot of time when the machine needs to run a laser engraving project. If you are looking for a CNC for both wood carving and laser engraving jobs, the Mastuer 3S is the best choice.

Speedy customer service

One of the cable would not thread after trying many times. Wrote to customer service and they reply back the next day with suggestions. Told them I tried all the tricks they suggested they sent me a replacement cable. The cable arrived in a few days and it replaced the old with the new. Good customer service so far. Hope this continues!

very frustrating lack of instructions

having purchased a Masuter3s i am very very disappointed at the significant lack of information to even to access a first cut. no information or help at all and i feel like throwing it inthe skip and buying a trent machine with all the available help with setting the machine up

NEW TO CNC

Bought the 3S and the 8040 Extension. So far so good. I got the 3S together, minus the electrical, then I took it apart to rebuild it with the 8040. Draw back is NO INFORMATION ON HOW TO TENSION THE NEW BELT or any belt.

The masuter 3s is an actual shop machine where the masuter 3 is a very limited hobbyist toy. So far very happy with the 3s

My first step into CNC. This machine has been a great stepping stone . I found the build easy IF you take time and look properly at the pictograms which are a lot better than translated words in my opinion.
I t did take some investigation/studying and watching YouTube vids before I could get my head around various terminology and process’s, now that’s sorted I am confidently doing 3d carves etc. I have made mistakes and learnt from them. These machines all do what you tell them, and if the instructions are wrong expect the wring result.
I have had 1 problem… my X motion motor failed ! An email to FoxAlien, saw a test procedure sent to me which confirmed the worse. I was told the same day that a new motor was being sent from FA. , it will take 7-10 days to arrive .
In summary these machines are excellent Good value for money and customer service I found great. Don’t expect ‘plug and play’ , don’t expect FA to sort out software issues , it’s not what they do ! It is an addictive hobby , if it turns into a side hustle all well and good if not It’s still a hobby , of which all come at a cost.
