I was impressed with how the laser was so much better then the 40w laser
It says that it will cut 12mm plywood but I couldn't do it without setting the wood on fire
But it did 10mm softwood perfectly
Overall it was amazing for a diode laser

Love my first laser!

The FA 80/20W laser was simple to set up on my Masuter Pro. Getting the settings correct in Lightburn and the controller was not intuitive for a first time laser user. I emailed FA Support late in the afternoon twice, and they responded the next morning each time. They got my settings squared away, and the laser works great. Cuts through 3mm plywood in a single pass at less than full power. Engraving is very clean and precise. Only tried wood so far. Highly recommended to any FA machine owner looking to get into laser with zero experience!
