Extension Kit 4080 for Masuter Pro

My machine does work, from the moment I received it. I couldn't tell you how the extended bed is??? I tried, multiple emails to FoxAlien, BUT, I haven't received one reply since all this. NOT ONE!!!! I' m at the point of tossing the whole thing in the garbage hopper and chalking this, approximate two thousand dollar loss, up to experiences!!! Every Axis works fine. Tried 2 different spindles, and neither one works. Checked the wiring to many times, thinking I missed something, but EVERYTHING IS where it should be! PROPERLY connected the 300w spindle to the 24-48 DC input, hooked the spindle wire from the harnes to "Spindle 2", and moved the toggle switch to the left. NOTHING! The problem has to be the circuit board. I even tried offering to buy it (Just to get this thing operating!) OF COURSE, NO REPLY!!!

Easy to install. Works fine.

Gives you a lot more flexibility when taking in projects.

The extension has made it possible to work longer boards. I can cut multiple projects on the same piece of wood. Make sure to cut your clamping screws down though as the kit only allows them to be screwed in so much and the Z gantry will hit them if not careful. I love it but wish there was a Z axis kit to allow it to travel higher. It’s hard to do tool changes sometimes when using longer down cut bits. If there’s a prototype for the Z, I’d love to try it out.

The plastic belt is installed the wrong way or its meant for the X axis extension. I bought the Y x-cis extension. Also some steps in the replacing process are missing which made me redo some parts.

Excellent product

I purchased the Masuter Pro in January, 2025 as an entry level machine. I am so impressed with the unit, I recently purchased the 8040 extension kit and the NEMA 23 upgrade. The only limitations with this machine was the size and the need to make shallow carves and use slower speeds, but this was perfectly exceptable with the type of carves I'm making. Looking forward to installing the ugrades. This will be one awsome machine! BTW...customer support is great, typically returning my emails within 24 hours. Thanks Fox Alien!

Very good product! Will review more in depth after I've used it for a while, but so far great customer service and machining!
