Great machine, easy to assemble

Everything is so clearly labeled that assembly is very straightforward.
It's an awesome machine, and the 8040 extension is one of few that are wide in the X axis and narrow in the Y axis making it great for a small shop. The wide X axis will allow me to do index pass throughs on the 30 inch dimension.
It has worked great for engraving and full cut outs on half inch walnut so far.
Loving it.

Only complaint is that I bought the XE pro with the 8040 extension which means that right out of the box there's a whole pile of parts that I will never use and I'm not sure what to do with. It would be really nice if Fox alien just took out the extra 4040 parts and kept them to use on other machines. Or Give me the option to mail them back?

Glad They’re Using Stronger Batteries

I had the original version of the dust shoe. It came off during a routing project and broke my bit. This one appears to be a stronger bond.

works great I mounted it to a Bauer palm router really cuts down on dust around the machine I have a shop vac connected to it.
