[Flagship] CNC Router Machine XE-Ultra with 1.5KW VFD Spindle Bundle Kit

Ordered xe ultr bundle and website illustrated a metal base below the machine with med base only I assumed this came with the metal base which is why I ordered it. I also ordered accesses from the link 4th axis which gapped to not be the fit for what the machine I ordered. Also the description of the product kn the box did not indicate a the 1.5 kw spindle, so I ordered one not knowing it came with it. This is where all the issues began . I purchased everything I needed to make a spoil board for the unit a bit over 200.00, well I received an email to explain I ordered the wrong 4th axis unit and it would be 40 dollars more to get the correct one. Also followed up with you ordered a second spindle you sure you want 2. Which I explained all of the above in response and said I wanted the metal base as pictured. What I received was the spoil board base and the correct 4th axis once I paid an additional 40 to fix what your website caused.
I was u see the impression the base was in process and much time passed with all the holidays and I was unable to assemble waiting on metal base and lost several sales beacuse of the delay. Last email I received was mentioned I should just keep the spoil board since it would be a useful addition. I responded that I had already purchased everything for making my own spoil board with the anticipated base arriving and that I should receive a refund for a portion of the sale for the deceptive website and all the delays and lost sales this mess created for me. I’m now asking for much just the cost of the material I purchased to make the spoil board and wasted time and lost sales. No response record other than I will advise the web and customer service team whic I assumed was who I was dealing with.
I hope the machine works better than the service I record with this transaction

This is my first cnc machine. The learning curve is much steeper than my laser engraver was, but I'm getting there. The machine was pretty easy to set up. Everything is very solid. The only problem ive had is the wire for the Z limit switch seems short. I've had it disconnect a couple of times. It was pre-routed through the cable tray. There may be extra, but I need to dig into it to see if I can loosen the slack. I also purchased the hybrid table to go with it, which makes the whole thing feel more substantial. I've only made a couple things so far, but I'm happy with it so far.

Bought the machine on a whim. I’ve been looking for a machine for a while and finally got the courage to purchase the Xe ultra after reading many reviews. Easy to set up and get running. Bought the vfd spindle, which was a great choice. Only cut wood so far (and an improperly sunk screw) but cut like butter, including the steel screw head! Impressed. Since bought the rotary axis…. But need to get my confidence up before attempting rotary projects.

When you buy a great machine, why not step up to an even better spindle. This spindle has POWER! When I first started using the Fox Alien XE-Ultra 8080 with the upgraded spindle I didn’t realize that one of my clamps was in the way, it cut right through my clamp without any hesitation. Of course I stopped and licked my wounds. Now is that power!? Please don’t do what I did the clamp will live on but the end mill wasn’t so lucky. For extra speed you could never go wrong with this upgrade. If I didn’t believe this I would never say it. GET ONE! Now make some chips even faster.

The CNC machine is great. How ever the Candle software that came with it is very bad. Not very user friendly and unable to make it report in inches instead of millimeters. I use Vetric Pro design software and nowhere on that program or online could I find the specific gcode such as gal to use.

Arrived quickly and in great shape. Works exactly as it should. No complaints and cant best the price for the size snd features

After a real simple construction and installation procedure this is working great. Sturdy, robust and simple - exactly what is needed. My maim issue is what to do - the choices are unlimited for me. A great product.

This machine is very solidly built, precise machine. Not hard to assemble as everything is well marked. Great higher level product that puts it in a category above the “hobbyist” level without breaking the bank

Just wanna leave a very good rating for the given machine - absolutely love it for now!

I did do a few test runs with the 1.5 KW Spindle for testing (very silent that beast) and flattening my spoilboard.

Other then that im currently the machine for test plotting to see about reliability of the motors, repeatability etc. - printed my own pencil holder for that. - Foxalien maybe you can add one to your portfolio? ;-)

Also, I did mount the CNC on my own 2040 aluminum profiles ordered by a separate vendor as sadly the spoilboard / frame set was not available in europe. Thanks @ Foxalien for swiftly providing the needed specs!

That said the overall support received so far was just superb, thanks in particular to Ophelia which I kept very busy with my questions even over christmas!
