Impressive little bits

Excellent quality bits, very true to center and extremely sharp. Sharp enough to lay my hand open almost to the bone when I was careless around one chucked up in my (powered off and not moving) CNC router.

My only complaint is that they dull fairly quickly when engraving 6061 aluminum. Not really the tool's fault, since it is still HSS. The coating works well for a while, but engraving really only uses about 5-10 thousandths of the end of the bit, and even carbide won't stand up to that for long. For the money, it's hard to go wrong.

These are actually +5 Adamantine Bits of Wood Carving

I was worried about how well these would work in a CNC wood engraving application. My worries were wrong, however. I'm still on my first bit after 15 hours of carving hardwoods like oak. I've crashed the bit into the material several times (gcode sender errors) without any damage to it either. These are great bits and give great clean results. Will be buying more if I ever manage to dull these.
