The rails were easy to install and seem to be well built quality

Linear rail system

Easy to install. I also bought the 8040 extension kit so I have an extra X linear rail for the xe- pro. Wish I could have just bought the y axix rails but it was worth it to get the stability.

Rails are good, but excess parts for excess cost

I really like the rails. Quiet and smooth. My complaint is how FA requires you to buy excess parts not needed. If you want the 4080 you have to buy the 4040 and throw away brand new parts. Same for the rails. You have to buy the rail kit that has rails in it that are already included in the 4080 upgrade. Could have saved several hundred dollars to upgrade other areas of the CNC.

All went together very well and the first carving project is going well.
The Dust Shoe magnets don’t appear to be strong enough but a little tape hold the brush in place.
